Refunds and cancellations

Every bookable departure should display a cancellation schedule before payment. The version accepted at checkout is preserved with the booking and is the starting point for any cancellation calculation.

Package-specific terms

Cancellation deductions depend on the accepted schedule, the time remaining before departure and any documented non-recoverable costs. A general website summary does not replace the booking-specific schedule.

How refunds are calculated

  • We identify the amount paid and who holds it.
  • We apply the accepted time-based cancellation terms.
  • We review supported non-recoverable costs where the agreement permits them.
  • We record the calculation, decision and payment reference.

Direct operator payments

Where a traveller pays an operator directly, the operator is responsible for receiving and returning those funds under the accepted terms. Wayzari may preserve evidence and assist with the record, but cannot release money it does not hold.

Changes, disruption and complaints

Operator cancellation, material itinerary changes, unavailable services and force majeure events may be treated differently under the booking agreement and applicable law. Raise concerns promptly through the booking workspace and preserve relevant evidence.
